EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES THROUGH

RESEARCH, TECHNOLOGY, PASSION & MEANINGFUL PROJECTS

The World Economic Forum (2016), aware of the challenges presented by new technologies, recommends and urges governments and educational institutions to invest efforts in “soft skills” to compete with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Among the first soft skills proposed for the year, 2020 are: solving complex problems, critical thinking, creativity, and administration and staff coordination.

At the academy, we care about our students by developing these skills.

EMPOWERING THROUGH LEARNING

About Us

The Aerospace Academy was founded by the need to export educational practices STEAM, NGSS, and other world class educational standards, where our students develop attitudes, values, and skills through experiential educational experiences (soft skills) based on educational competencies.

In our model, the student is presented with a challenge, a series of tools, and a team to solve this challenge in a given time. As in Industry 4.0, at the end of the challenge, students must present a working model or prototype to an audience and be prepared to answer questions.
In our model, the teacher acts as an instructor by training students in the use of cutting-edge technological tools and as a mentor during the execution of the challenge.

🏆Today we finished the training process for the Department's First NASA Club, it is a great initiative and we have had international guests 💖
We have learned about the importance of believing that we can do new things, we managed to INSPIRE about 200 children, including villages such as Pirgua and Florencia.
🏆From the Family and Parenting with Love Strategy, the Secretary for Women, Gender Equity and Social Development and the Mayor's Office of Tunja will continue working to continue INSPIRING our children and adolescents. 🏆

Recent Projects

The practical skills that our students acquire by using cutting-edge technological tools can be used in other areas and not only for the challenges offered in the academy. Our students learn to learn how to use these tools, to adapt and modify them, developing skills with lifelong learning.
